Marc E. Possa

Marc E. Possa (*1965) joined VV Vermögensverwaltung AG in 2009, where he took over responsibility for SaraSelect from Peter J. Lehner mid 2011 and later also the management of the company.

Prior to this, he worked six years for Credit Suisse First Boston before moving to Deutsche Bank, where he helped to build up the Investment Banking in Switzerland. After that, he was responsible for the Swiss equity brokerage to institutional clients at Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch. Later on, Marc E. Possa invested parts of the excess capital at Zurich Cantonalbank.

Marc E. Possa graduated his economic degree (lic. oec.) with magna cum laude in 1991 at the University of Zurich. He is CFA Chartholder and holds an AZEK diploma as Certified International Investment Analyst CIIA.

Marc E. Possa is married and is father of a daughter and a son.

Thomas Buri

Deputy CEO, Senior Portfolio Manager

Thomas Buri (*1961) joined VV Vermögensverwaltung in February 2016.

Besides a profound knowledge in banking he has also experience in the industrial sector. Between 1989 and 1996 he was responsible for the build-up and expansion of the Treasury Department of Walter Meier AG. After that he was working for several Private Banks, as Banque Pictet, Bank Vontobel and Lombard Odier in asset management. He built up several teams and was focusing on Swiss Equities with a clear bias towards mid- & small caps. For these providers he managed successfully various funds and mandates and set up the proprietary stock research.

Thomas Buri holds a degree in Business Administration and is a CFA chartholder.

Thomas Buri is married and has two sons.

Katharina Rauch

Risk Management & Compliance Officer

Katharina Rauch (*1972) joined VV Vermögensverwaltung AG in September 2016.

After obtaining a master degree of economics in 1998 she startet working in the audit department of KPMG Hamburg and during the next years in Singapore and Zurich she gained various experiences in banking (credit, industry analysis, risk & ccompliance) at Norddeutsche Landesbank, Credit Suisse and Banque Heritage.

Katharina Rauch is married and has one son.
